This workshop gives you the power to tell any digital story that you wish. With the tools and know how you can create your photo or video story. Then exhibit it at the end of the workshop. Your story can be for your personal use, your school portfolio, to help you get into design school, or just for fun!!

Workshop open to any age from 10-24-year-olds.

5 DAY DIGITAL STORY TELLING WORKSHOP

• Introduction to the Seven Steps of Digital Storytelling
• Group sharing and feedback in a facilitated Story Circle
• Script writing and voice recording
• Image preparation and storyboarding
• Video/photography editing and production: transitions, effects, music, and titles
• Production of your digital story
• Public Group showing

This workshop is for everyone and anyone aged between 10 and 24 years old, tech savvy and not.

Whether you feel a creative itch to experiment, a desire to more deeply explore a remarkable life story or the need to represent a story of your organisation or community, our experienced and professional facilitator will make you feel completely supported and at home.

If you have your own laptop to use during the workshop, please bring it; if not Te Oro will provide you with a computer.

Please bring a 16GB USB stick for the work you create.

Please bring a camera or smart phone with filming capabilities if you have one.
Te Oro will provide you with a camera if you do not have one.
Please note you may need share as camera numbers are limited.
