Glen Innes is known for it street art and painted murals in Bradley and Stratton laneways. This free one-day mural project is a temporary street-art design incubator.

In it, you create designs using unique pattern and stencil methods, then weave them together to form collective piece.

No experience is required to attend however it would be useful to understand how to use a computer or mobile phone for design inspiration.

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, that you don’t mind getting paint on.

Materials are supplied.

Chantel Matthews-Perawiti

Glen Innes born Chantel is a conceptual artist. Much of her work consists of digital/photographic imagery and installation that looks at the complexities of power and social concerns. Chantel’s presentation aims to be simple yet effective, constructing visual displays that require an “unveiling” of meanings.
Chantel has exhibited work nationally and is a graduate from Whitecliffe art and design school and Unitec Institute of Technology.
