Te Oro is proud to present a free special showing of Three Wise Cousins for EastWeek and Samoan Language Week.

At the door at Te Oro - 120 seats only.
First in, First seated.

The film will be followed by 15-20 min Q& A session with the lead actor Neil Amituanai facilitated by Te Oro's very own Jason Te Kare.

Adam overhearing his crush say she only likes “real island guys” is all it takes to get Adam (Neil Amituanai, in his big screen debut) packing his bags for Samoa, in this comedy by Stallone Vaiaoga-Ioasa (TV's Fresh). Shot largely in Samoa over two weeks, the self-funded film co-stars Samoan locals Vito Vito and Fesuiai Viliamu as Adam’s cousins, teaching him the basics of island life. Three Wise Cousins reached number eight at the NZ box office in its opening weekend, and continues to win solid audiences, despite minimal publicity. Stuff critic James Croot called it "colourful and charming".

Director: Stallone Vaiaoga-Ioasa

Empowering Tamaki youth by bringing them together, to work as one.

In 2016 we took up the challenge and created EASTWEEK, local youth co-designed and ran events for and by youth, supported by some friends and resources. This year we continued to build on working on events for youth by youth.

Youth Week is a national wide festival of events organised by young New Zealanders to celebrate the talents, passion and success of local young people. For more info on YOUTH WEEK visit
