Mika Haka Foundation
Following successful program delivery models from KāLife, Mika Haka Foundation’s Health Initiative, we encourage learning through action during school holidays by keeping children and teenagers active and off the couch.
MHF assists youth to carve out their own creative and health goals and leap into positive career paths. MHF deliver Summer holiday programs through the following practices:
• goal-setting
• team-building and group learning
• implementing independence
• identifying weaknesses by offering suggestions for improvement
• advocate the importance of cultural acceptance and celebrate difference
