The Y-Factor is a talent contest for participants 12-20 years of age; talents may include singing, dancing, spoken word performances, magic acts, and comedy acts. The purpose of the event is to showcase the talents of young people within the East Auckland district and to encourage friends and family of the performers to come along and support.

Raise Up Panmure and Onehunga

The Raise Up program is a youth leadership and event management program for young people 13-18 years of age. The Raise Up crews meet weekly to plan youth events and workshops for young people within the community food and beverages provided. Each crew plans 4 events per year and 2 workshops the Raise Up program is free to join additional activities include an Induction camp with all of the Raise Up crews from Auckland and Hamilton. At the end of the year all of the crews get together for a graduation day.
