About

Phenomenal Young Women come together weekly to provide a safe and free space where young females can do fun activities like dance, get glammed up, mix and mingle with other girls, do community projects, run whanau days, and grow your confidence and self-identity.

Phenomenal Young Women meet at Te Oro once a week in school terms. It’s free to come along and join us on our weekly activities. It costs nothing to join, all you need to is come along, have fun and make friends!

Every Tuesday during these dates 4:30pm - 6:30pm

Phenomenal Women GI - Latisha Puti

Latisha Puti is a graduate student of Tamaki College from 2019. On rainy days, she loves a whole box of munchies and chill for the day! A fun, productive day for her is a day out with her siblings. Latisha has been a part of Phenomenal Young Women since the beginning in 2018 as a member, then led the Tamaki College group in 2019. She is now stepping up to lead our brand new community group in Glen Innes with the help of Te Oro and crew. Latisha is going to be studying to attain her level 4 Mental Health and Wellbeing Certificate. Her future career path is to become a youth worker full time. Growing up in GI has inspired her to give back and help other young people strive.
