About
Across the Moana is a collective exhibition
that celebrates the power of cross
cultural connections, chosen family and
community.
Inspired by the legacy of Reina Sutton —
an artist and event organiser who fought
for marginalised creatives — this show
brings together artists who Reina loved
and whose work reflects her enduring
memory as a curator.
Across The Moana honours the lasting
bonds of friendship and the voices and
spaces Reina passionately supported. It is
a tribute to the connections that continue
to aform and guide us.
AMF Presents: Are you still watching?
An ode to connection, memory, and the worlds we've built together, Are you still watching? is a tender gaze into the AMF timeline and those who have inspired it. Here's to the tapestry of moments gifted to us by those who chose to gather, create, and celebrate together. While we take some time to rest and reset, we leave you with this work and ask... Are you still watching?
Opening event: Thursday 27 March 5-7pm
Te Oro
The long-held community dream of a music and arts centre for young people in Glen Innes is here.
In this multi-purpose space, young people and the local community can come together to perform, practise and learn the arts; express their creativity and talents; and celebrate their cultures.
All My Friends
All My Friends are an Arts Organisation based in Tāmaki Makaurau. The past 5 years have seen us realize creative projects that champion the poingnant intersections of our Asian, Pasifika, Rainbow and Creative communities.
We stand to foster visibility, meaningful conversations and new connections that connect these differing communities. As a product of four diverse individuals with different cultural backgrounds, our references represent the eclectic upbringings of kids in the diaspora, exploring the endless creativity around us.
