Rage and the Machine sits at the nexus of feminine rage and technology, exploring rage as an inherently human response to the world around us. Drawing on generated imagery, the series considers what happens when caring deeply gives rise to rage, and how that rage can become a source of strength, empowerment and a catalyst for positive change.
Working with AI tools as both medium and critique, the series questions how emerging technologies refl ect, distort and mask our realities. Images are digitally reworked and then translated into large-scale paintings, moving between digital and physical space.
Rather than something to suppress, Rage and the Machine reframes feminine rage as a force for healing, resilience and transformation.
