About

We will learn to make t-shirt yarn and then use braiding techniques to make chunky necklaces or wristbands. Or we can turn old shirts into a no-sew bag. The future of fashion is upcycling!

Te Oro

The long-held community dream of a music and arts centre for young people in Glen Innes is here.
In this multi-purpose space, young people and the local community can come together to perform, practise and learn the arts; express their creativity and talents; and celebrate their cultures.

The Re-Creators

Our diverse collective of upcycling creatives offers tutoring, design thinking, and manufacturing services, believing in the positive impact of working with reclaimed materials on mental wellbeing and restoring Papatūānuku.

Explore our range of upcycling workshops for all ages and visit our online store, where our prices reflect fair wages and material preparation efforts. Join our collective in supporting collaborative learning and sustainable creativity, rescuing discarded materials for a second chance on our planet.
