Bradley Lane Project
Bradley Lane is the name of a once ordinary service lane in Glen Innes, Auckland.
The idea of a street art festival in Tāmaki was conceived by local artist Gary Silipa. In 2013, with three friends and the support of Aotearoa Urban Arts Trust, two murals were painted in Bradley Lane with a festive atmosphere over a Spring weekend.
They decided to call it the Bradley Lane Project.
In subsequent years Gary continued to organise the event independently until 2017, when a locally led community arts organisation, TGTB Charitable Trust, was given the responsibility to deliver and continue the positive impact Bradley Lane Project has had in the Tāmaki community.
