About
Co-hosted by Ruāpotaka Marae and the International Women’s Association
This cross-cultural showcase brings together Māori and Chinese women artists whose works explore themes of whakapapa (heritage), migration, whenua (land), motherhood, resilience, and belonging. From weaving and calligraphy to painting and installation, the exhibition is a reflection of lived experiences, cultural exchange, and artistic expression.
Join us to honour the mana of wāhine and the enduring connections between two rich cultures through creativity and storytelling.
