Tuvaluan Language Week Dance workshop, costume showcase and demonstration.

There will be a costume display and showcase. We will have mannequins dressed in traditional costumes and our dancers getting dressed in different layers of Tuvaluan dance costumes.

Fatele Demonstration - Presentation about fatele (traditional dance)
The roles of people involved and the instruments used (box + tin/pate)

Performance - Tuvalu dance by our tamafine(young women)

Tamafine Laeva Tuvalu is a dance group specializing in traditional Tuvaluan dancing and storytelling.
The girls initially started dancing in 2015 for the Nukulaelae community in Aotearoa during events and other special celebrations.
