In this multi-purpose space, young people and the local community can come together to perform, practise and learn the arts; express their creativity and talents; and celebrate their cultures.

Aida Oryantal

Aida is an international belly dance artist, performer, instructor and choreographer based in Auckland, New Zealand. In 2018 She was the winner of Raqs Cancun competition in Mexico (professional soloist division). In 2017 she was a finalist in the Miami Belly Dance Convention in Miami, Florida. Aida has been a featured artist showcasing Persian dance in the Dance for Unity festival in Shanghai, the biggest World Dance festival in Asia. In New Zealand she is a highly sought after entertainer across many communities and cultural groups. Whether dancing for thousands of people or a small family gathering, Aida creates a connection and lasting impression that leaves her audience mesmerised and eager to learn more about the art of belly dance.
