About
This year, Cebu was hit hard by Typhoon Tino (locally known as Kalmaegi) in early November 2025, which brought unprecedented rainfall, deep flooding, landslides and widespread destruction. Rivers overflowed, homes and infrastructure were devastated, power and water services were disrupted, and many families were displaced. The province declared a state of calamity as communities continue to recover from the storm’s impact
