Losalio Milika Pusiaki is an esteemed Tongan Master-poet (punake kakato), choreographer, composer, and a vital guardian of intangible cultural heritage. Hailing from the historic ancient capital of Lapaha, Tongatapu, she descends from a renowned lineage of punake. Blending ancestral wisdom with academic excellence, Milika holds a Master of Applied Indigenous Knowledge (Level 9) and is an accomplished author of Feʻunu Koula: The Art of Tongan Choreography. Her lifelong dedication to her craft was recognized in 2023 when she received the prestigious Creative New Zealand Pacific Heritage Artist Award. As the founder and Managing Director of the Feʻunu Koula Global Academy of Tongan Arts, Dance and Culture, and a former Pacific Media Network radio producer, her work serves as a powerful bridge, connecting indigenous oral traditions with contemporary diaspora communities to beautifully elevate Tongan arts.

Together, we will connect note to note and strand to strand, exchanging collective wisdom to elevate the past, present, and future of Tongan arts, music, and dance.
