Join Amo Ieriko an award-winning Siva Afi practitioner, tutor, producer, and cultural leader dedicated to growing Pacific performing arts in Aotearoa. As the founder and Director of Siva Afi Aotearoa and the Siva Afi Festival, he has helped establish New Zealand as a respected presence on the international fire knife stage while mentoring the next generation of performers through workshops, festivals, and community programmes.

Holding a Master of Creative Performance Practice from Toi Whakaari, Amo combines cultural knowledge, artistic excellence, and a passion for teaching to deliver engaging, inspiring, and authentic learning experiences for performers of all levels.

Open to all ages from 5yrs+ and welcoming everyone in the community, regardless of cultural and religious affiliations, abilities or gender, our workshops are a safe space to learn and thrive.

The taster workshop is a two-hour interactive workshop, learning the 3 basic motions and language associated with siva afi.
