About
Last year, Plantation Conversations' Torrise Laulu teamed up with the incredible Anatola Finau to host a Talanoa session for women at Te Oro. From that session, we knew that we HAD to continue creating these safe spaces for our people to talanoa, unpack & heal!
On Sat the 7th of March, we will be hosting our very first session for the year.
This is for ALL WOMEN- Pasifika, Māori, trans- women, cis- women, femmes etc.
We would love for you ALL to join and share space with us. We hope to have courageous conversations of issues that impact our Māori & Pasifika community and ways we can solve it using the tools that exist within our community.
Please register as spaces are limited to 50 as we will be meeting in Maungarei Dance studio
Saturday 14 March
10 am - 2 pm
Light refreshments provided
Koha to help with catering.
We feel as though we get spoken about more than included, and in reflecting on that, we realised the importance of creating OUR OWN SPACE!!
Let’s learn, unpack & engage in space, talanoa, kai, laugh and cry together!! Come as you want, whether that is pyjamas and slippers or a full beat and 6-inch heels. We want you as your most authentic & comfortable self!! ❤️
Plantation Conversations
